I'm Back!

I've taken some time off in the past few months from posting on YouTube due to getting adjusted to being back home in Canada after being away for a year. 

A few things needed my attention: 

I created a Kickstarter campaign to support the creation of my band’s debut album. I wrote a few grants to hopefully get government support for this project.

I then finished recording said album alongside a few music videos for Two Bad Bricks. 

And I got a new full time job.

(while trying to be consistent with my BJJ training, drink enough water, read some books, write new songs, see my friends and family – lol… I’m okay, I promise)

Pretty busy couple of months!

I’ve decided that I think I want to take a new avenue in terms of where I want my YouTube channel and especially this newsletter to go... 

I’d like to start creating content around songwriting tips in general; this is an area I feel like I can help people with. I want to deliver value and truly help anyone who is interested in music or just interested in seeing what it’s like being a musician in 2024. 

Even if it's just sharing with you what I did on a particular week for my songwriting process or a particular thought I have on a music business subject... I think it's worth sharing.

I think a bi-monthly newsletter is pretty realistic for me to start with. 

So yeah, just an update before I start sending out these newsletters that you will be hearing more from me from now on. Hope you have a good rest of your week, and speak to you soon!
